Therefore, service animals are not permitted on rides, and a member of your party must be available to stay with the animal while the service animal owner enjoys the rides. Per the manufacturer, the rides are not equipped or designed to accommodate animals. The Aquarium Restaurant is located inside on the 2nd floor. Downtown Aquarium reserves the right to refuse admission or ask anyone to leave who is not in compliance with these rules. Shoes with wheels (Heely's) are not allowed. Clothing with explicit language is not allowed. Pants must be pulled up fully to the waist, with no exposure of undergarments. Shirts, shorts/pants, and shoes must be worn at all times. Guests must wear appropriate clothing while at the Downtown Aquarium Houston. Line jumping, profanity, and unruly behavior are not tolerated and may be cause for ejection from the Downtown Aquarium Houston without refund. Tickets for RPC events require a valid Rice student ID.We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Tickets for Rice Program Council (RPC) and Passport to Houston events are sold at the Information Desk (often at a discount). If a car service (shuttle, taxi, etc.) is desired, the Information Desk attendant will call one for you. ![]() The Information Desk telephone is not available for public use however, there are phones located throughout the building for patrons' use. The staff at the Information Desk will assist patrons in locating public boards (near Rice Coffeehouse) to post their Rice University related flyers. Envelopes are also available for sale for $0.25 ea. For larger quantities, individuals may purchase them from Delivery Services (located behind Rice University Police Department, close to University Blvd. Postage StampsĪ maximum of ten postage stamps may be purchased at the Information Desk. After 60 days, items left in the Lost and Found are donated to local Houston charities. Lost and Found items may be taken to the Information Desk. Stamped mail or campus mail can be dropped off in the box in front of the Information Desk. The Information Desk sells both stamps and regular envelopes. See the policies and procedures for checking out games and a list of the available games here. Exchange your Rice ID to for a game or magazine and pick up your ID when you return the item. The Information Desk has a variety of magazines and games to check out. Various schedules and Rice maps are available at the desk as well as other services below.
